The Law Offices of David H. Greenberg may agree to make a cash advancement on your case, subject to the following terms and conditions:
You must first agree to hire our firm to represent you on your pending case, our firm must accept this representation, and both sides must sign our retainer agreement.
The amount to be advanced must be mutually agreed upon, and is subject to the following conditions. Our firm must confirm liability on your case, we must confirm that the defendant has liability insurance, or in the case of a vehicle accident, that you are covered by an Uninsured Motorist (UM) policy. In the case of a vehicle accident, we must confirm that you had liability insurance if you were the driver. Any loan or advancement is contingent on our firm verifying that you have treated regularly for a period of one month, or that you have been hospitalized for the pending accident. You will sign a lien agreement that our firm will have a lien on the proceeds of your case which lien supersedes any other lien on the proceeds of your case. This advancement or loan is to be paid back only out of the proceeds of your case. In the event that we are unable to recover any settlement or judgment on your case, you will not be required to repay the amount advanced. However, any advancement or loan will be immediately due and payable if our firm is substituted out of your case. This advancement or loan is interest free.
